Basic Foundations
2013 DIA Ellsworth Kelly Exhibit influence. I was preparing to enter a competition, with the concept of simplifying all elements to basic foundation.. I began with a connector of a water source to create the shapes. Three dark painted panels were painted with red black. The other three panels were painted with green black,, illustrating basic complements of color. Red, Yellow and Blue wires were added to incorporate the three basic primary colors, and link the idea both water and electricity are basic foundations we rely on.
The six panels allows for a variety of creative display layouts.
